Curriculum Vitae

Name: Peter Simpson

Peter has 34 years experience in the construction industry commencing on the tools at 16 and qualifying as a chartered surveyor at age 29. He worked on the commercial side for main contractors, the last ten years at director level.

Having co founded a surveying practice in 2000 he has focused on dispute resolution; predominately as adjudicator. It is his experience in adversarial dispute resolution that has convinced Peter that there is a better way to resolve disputes; hence he was in the first tranche of RICS Accredited Mediators to qualify.

Peter is very approachable and takes his work seriously which includes work in Australia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Botswana which has widened his perspectives and taught him that there are many ways to approach the same task and no one approach is necessarily the right way.
